PDPL (PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION LAW)
INFORMATIONAL TEXT ON PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
DEAR USER; WE WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU ABOUT THE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION LAW.
In compliance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (PDPL), any information related to an identified or identifiable real person shall be processed as Personal Data by the GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF MINT AND STAMP PRINTING HOUSE with the role of Data Controller. “Processing of your personal data” expresses all kinds of operations utilized within the data as in obtaining, saving, storing, preserving, changing, reorganizing, disclosing, transferring, taking over, making available, classifying or preventing the use of these data.
Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 entered into force after being published in the 29677 numbered and 07.04.2016 dated Official Gazette. In case of any personal data legally obtained by our Administration before the effective date of this Law, they shall be processed and maintained in accordance with the Information Text and the terms and conditions specified in PDPL.
As the GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF MINT AND STAMP PRINTING HOUSE, we would like to indicate that the protection of your personal data is of great importance to us and we continue our activities being aware of primary security of your personal data in our services offered to you.
Purposes and legal reasons for processing your Personal Data:
Your personal data such as identity information, address, telephone number, tax number and other information considered as personal data pursuant to PDPL shall be processed to be used in the services in accordance with laws and related legislation governing our institution, to perform our services and to determine the owner and addressee with business and transactions whatsoever, to issue information and documents to be the basis for the business and transactions on paper or electronic environment, to comply with the information storage, reporting and information obligations provided for all judicial and administrative authorities in accordance with the relevant legislation, to perform our services in accordance with the laws applied to us and to offer other requested services.
In case of one of the following conditions in paragraph 2, Article 5 of PDPL titled as "Conditions for processing personal data", the personal data can be utilized without explicit consent of the person concerned, where:
a. It is required by laws.
b. It is mandatory to protect the life or physical integrity of the person, who cannot express his/her consent due to the actual impossibility or whose consent is not validated legally, or someone else.
c. Personal data of the parties is required to be processed, provided that it is directly related to the construction or performance of an agreement.
d. It is required for the data controller to execute his/her legal obligation.
e. It is publicized by the person himself/herself.
f. Data processing is required for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right.
g. Data processing is required for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that the fundamental rights and freedoms of the relevant person are not damaged.
Transfer of Personal Data:
Your personal data at our institution may be transferred to the persons, institutions and/or organizations required/permitted by the law, other laws and other legislation provisions governing us and to third parties providing services in order to carry out the services delivered to citizens.
Deletion, disposal or anonymization of personal data:
a. Although personal data has been utilized in accordance with the provisions of hereby this law and other relevant laws, if the reasons for processing the data are no longer valid, personal data are deleted, disposed or anonymized by the data controller upon the request of the relevant person or independently.
b. The provisions specified in other laws relevant with the deletion, disposal or anonymization of personal data are hereby reserved.
c. The procedures and principles relevant with the deletion, disposal or anonymization of personal data are regulated by legislation.
Method for Obtaining Personal Data:
Pursuant to the relevant legislation, your personal data is collected verbally, in written or electronically through various channels as in our Institution, local service units and Web Pages, through all declaration/information forms and other documents relevant with your transactions drawn up upon your approval and/or signature, and through statements provided by you with your electronic approval and/or signature.
Your rights pursuant to Article 11 of the Law:
By applying to our institution, you will have the right to;
a. find out whether your personal data are processed or not,
b. demand information regarding the personal data if they are processed,
c. find out the purpose of data processing and whether this data is used for the intended purposes,
d. know the third parties to whom the personal data is transferred in the country or abroad,
e. request correction in case it is incomplete or processed incorrectly,
f. request the deletion/disposal of personal data in accordance with the conditions specified in the article on deletion, disposal or anonymization of PDPL,
g. demand notification of the operations carried out in compliance with subparagraphs (e) and (f) to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,
h. object to the existence of a result against you as your processed data it is analyzed exclusively through automated systems,
i. request compensation of your loss in case you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

The requests appearing in the application are finalized by the Data Controller free of charge at the soonest possible date and within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, when an additional cost is demanded for the transaction, our Company shall charge the tariff determined by the Board.
